Riepilogo
Ambientato in un tempo e in un luogo mitologici, Ja-Dou racconta le lotte degli eredi dei regni celesti e dei loro compagni, per respingere le forze demoniache che a volte si fanno strada verso il paradiso.
Ashray è il figlio dell'Imperatore della Fiamma, piccolo per la sua età e maledetto da un carattere focoso. Deve anche nascondere il fatto di avere un corno, una caratteristica solitamente associata ai demoni. Suo padre continua a nominare assistenti che lo tengano d'occhio, ma tenere il passo con Ashray è un duro lavoro e i primi sei sono morti durante il loro dovere. Riuscirà Alan Seoul, il suo settimo assistente appena nominato, a durare un po' più a lungo dei primi sei? Teiou è un principe del regno orientale dell'aria. Il suo migliore amico e amante è Keika, un mazoku, o demone, in forma umana. Tiarandear, è il principe del regno occidentale dell'acqua. In quanto capo di tutti gli dei, è suo compito mantenere l'armonia in cielo e dirigere e controllare la storia umana. Ama Ashray, ma per quanto tempo potrà continuare a proteggerlo dalle conseguenze del suo carattere violento? E se in cielo si sapesse che Ashray potrebbe essere in parte demone?
